Silvia Grisendi

Silvia Grisendi

Silvia’s main motivation is empowering as many people as possible with the knowledge and practical tools to help them express their innate healing potential.

With a Masters degree in Molecular Biology and PhD in Human Oncology, Silvia started her healthcare career as a scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre (New York), investigating the biology of cancer. Her passion for science and communication then led her to London, where she joined the prestigious Nature Publishing Group as an Associate Editor, travelling the world to learn about the latest science in the fields of stem cell biology and cancer.

It was Silvia’s desire to expand her knowledge about health and healing that eventually guided her to embrace naturopathic clinical practice. After witnessing the extraordinary difference that a holistic approach can make for individuals suffering with chronic conditions, she decided to qualify as a Nutritional Therapist at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), and begun practicing with a focus on supporting people diagnosed with cancer.

Silvia combines over 20 years’ experience in biomedicine with a life-long interest in holistic health. She continues to hold a strong passion for researching the latest advances in cancer biology, clinical nutrition and integrative medicine, as well as lifestyle and energy medicine. Besides focusing on clinical and educational work, in the last few years Silvia has been lecturing at the CNM, and continues training in Functional Medicine (Functional Medicine University) and transformational healing (The Journey®).
