Silvia Grisendi

Senior Nutritional Therapist

Silvia Grisendi

Silvia is one of the team’s senior nutritional therapists and has many roles at Body Soul Nutrition including providing in-depth to support to clients on a one-to-one basis. Her biggest passion is empowering her clients by providing them with the knowledge and practical guidance to enable them to tap into their body’s innate healing potential.

Following a PhD in Human Oncology and many years as a research scientist investigating mechanisms of cancer development, Silvia decided to focus her work on naturopathic and functional nutrition after witnessing the extraordinary difference that a holistic approach can make for individuals suffering with chronic health issues. This is when she moved from the lab to the clinic, qualified as a Nutritional Therapist at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), and begun specialising in supporting people diagnosed with cancer.

Silvia combines over 20 years’ experience in Biomedicine with a life-long interest in science, health and prevention of chronic disease, and she continues to hold a strong passion for researching all the latest advances in clinical nutrition, holistic therapies and integrative medicine. As well as focusing on clinical work, in the last few years she has also been working as a lecturer in Biomedicine at CNM and continues training in Functional Medicine (Institute of Functional Medicine, USA).
